A lot of his well known album cover designs are regarded as iconic designs, and he has worked with many bands in the past, most notably including 10cc, Genesis, Pink Floyd, and Paul McCartney & Wings.

An example of one of his iconic album covers, includes 'Dark Side of the Moon'.
Thorgerson was the designer behind this artwork, which can be seen below.

He also designed 'Houses of the Holy' (seen below), which was labeled a controversial design by many, due to its use of naked children on the design.

Another well known design that he created for the band Pink Floyd, includes the album entitled 'A Momentary Lapse Of Reason'.

He is well known for creating albums that are on a large scale, much like the artwork above.
